A great laptop we have reviewed lately is the Toshiba Satellite Core 2 Duo 1.6 GHz, a super model that can me call a good computer. The Toshiba Satellite has a powerful processor Intel Core 2 Duo 1.6 GHz while its bus speed is 533 MHz. This computer comes with a hard drive capacity of 180 GB. Toshiba has included DDR II SDRAM internal memory with a capacity of 2 GB. The internal memory on this computer is can be upgraded up to 4 GB. The Toshiba Satellite comes with an Optical drive supporting DVDRW Dual Layer and the size of the screen is 15.4 inches. The screen on this computer is TFT Active Matrix.
The screen also is in a widescreen format, very useful to watch DVD format movies . The resolution standard has been chosen to be WXGA while the maximum resolution is 1280 x 800. You also find on this model a video output S-Video, VGA. Also, the video card on the Toshiba Satellite is the very good Intel GMA 950. The networking connection furnished on this notebook computer is of type Fast Ethernet, 802.11a/g/b. Last but not least, the Toshiba Satellite is of an interesting size, measuring a height of 1.5 inches, its depth is 10.5 inches while having a weight of 6 pounds in total.
